Business Accounts
Credit Terms
Business credit is available only to approved corporate customers and is always subject to assessment and written confirmation.
1. Eligibility
Credit applications are accepted from businesses and organisations. VALORA may request company registration information, VAT or tax details, addresses, trade references, financial information and supporting documents. Submission does not guarantee approval.
2. First three orders
The first three completed orders must be paid in advance. After that trading history exists, the customer may apply for a credit account. Approval remains discretionary and is not automatic.
3. Approved payment terms
Possible terms may include 7, 14, 21, 28, 30 or 60 days, subject to approval. A customer receives only the term expressly authorised for that account. A request for Net 60, for example, does not create an entitlement to Net 60.
4. Credit limit and availability
Any approved account will have a defined credit limit. Available credit is reduced by outstanding orders and invoices and restored after cleared payment. VALORA may require prepayment when a new order would exceed the available limit.
5. Purchase orders and authorised buyers
The customer is responsible for identifying authorised buyers and communicating any purchase order, department or internal reference requirements. An internal customer process does not change the invoice due date unless VALORA agrees in writing.
6. Invoices and disputes
Invoices are issued to the approved billing contact and must be reviewed promptly. A genuine invoice query should be raised without delay and with sufficient detail. Undisputed amounts remain payable by the due date.
7. Late or overdue accounts
VALORA may suspend further credit orders, reduce or withdraw a limit, require prepayment, or take proportionate recovery action when an account is overdue or the risk profile changes. Prepaid purchases may remain available at VALORA’s discretion.
8. Review and withdrawal
Credit approval may be reviewed periodically. VALORA may amend or withdraw credit facilities where reasonably required, including after material changes to the customer, adverse payment history, inaccurate application information or compliance concerns.
9. Data and confidentiality
Application information is used for account administration, compliance and credit assessment and is handled under the Privacy Policy. Internal risk analysis, supplier costs, margins and confidential commercial notes are not disclosed through the customer portal.
Important: credit facilities are not currently active at checkout. They will be enabled only after the policy, accounting process and operational integration have been approved.
