3. How we obtain information
We collect information directly from forms, account registration, checkout, email, and other communications. We may also receive information from payment providers, suppliers, carriers, fraud-prevention providers, professional advisers, and publicly available business registers.
4. Why we use information and our lawful bases
- Contract and pre-contract steps: to create accounts, answer enquiries, prepare quotations, process orders, take payment, arrange delivery, manage returns, and provide support.
- Legal obligation: to maintain tax and accounting records, comply with product-safety, customs, sanctions, fraud-prevention and other legal requirements, and respond to lawful authorities.
- Legitimate interests: to operate and secure the business, prevent misuse, improve services, manage B2B relationships, and defend legal claims, after considering the impact on individual rights.
- Consent: for optional marketing and non-essential cookies where consent is required. Consent can be withdrawn at any time.
5. Quotation, order and blind-fulfilment data
To fulfil an order or quotation, VALORA may share the minimum necessary customer, delivery, and product information with an approved supplier, manufacturer, carrier, or customs intermediary. Blind-dropshipping suppliers are instructed not to use customer information for their own marketing and not to include supplier promotional material in the shipment.
6. Career and supplier forms
Career information is used to assess applications, communicate with candidates, and meet legal obligations. Unsuccessful candidate information will normally be deleted within six months after the relevant process unless a longer period is required to handle a legal claim or the candidate gives permission to join a talent pool.
Supplier information is used for due diligence, product and compliance assessment, onboarding, and relationship management. Sensitive documents should only be uploaded when requested and relevant.

We do not sell personal information.
8. International transfers
Some suppliers, carriers, or service providers may be outside the United Kingdom. Where personal information is transferred internationally, VALORA will use an applicable adequacy regulation, approved contractual safeguards, or another lawful transfer mechanism and will limit the information shared to what is necessary.
9. Retention
Information is kept only for as long as needed for the stated purpose, legal obligations, and dispute resolution. Order, invoice, tax, and accounting records are normally retained for at least six years where required. Security logs and general enquiries are retained for shorter risk-based periods. Retention rules will be documented and reviewed before launch.
10. Cookies
The website uses essential cookies for security, account login, shopping basket, checkout, and preference management. Non-essential analytics, advertising, or social-media cookies will not be activated before valid consent where consent is required.
